An Overview of Our Work
We work on the frontier of educational innovation practices to bring adept solutions to the greatest curricular challenges facing the University. As a curricular R&D unit, the work of the Red House uses practices of discovery to interrogate the structures of and systems of the University. Our findings inform the design of innovative and sustainable solutions that help align the Georgetown curriculum and student experience with our authentic values.
Through the iterative cycle of discovery and design, the Red House develops new models for teaching and learning, incubates educational innovations, and pilots new experiential and curricular programs that foster a culture of equity, innovation, and inquiry and collaboration across Georgetown University and our larger community.
Our work is to design and implement transformative solutions to challenges facing higher education that effectively and equitably benefit our students and society. Each project we undertake aims to transform what it means to pursue a Georgetown education.
